Measure of the internal angles of the regular polygon

To find:

The missing measure of angle x.

Solution:

The clear image of the question is attached below.

Number of sides (n) = 8

Sum of interior angles of a regular polygon:

Sum = (n - 2) × 180°

Substitute n = 8.

105° + 110° + 150° + 125° + 110° + 159° + 160° + x = (8 - 2) × 180°

919° + x = 6 × 180°

919° + x = 1080°

Subtract 919° from both sides.

919° + x - 919° = 1080° - 919°

x = 161°

The measure of the internal angle x is 161°.
