Tires from two different trucks are being compared. Tire A has a diameter of 32 inches and Tire B has a diameter of 28 inches. #We calculate the Circumference of A:

#We then calculate the circumference of B:


C_b=\pi D\\\\=\pi * 28\\\\=87.9646\ inches

-A has a larger circumference than B and the difference is :


\bigtriangleup=C_a-C_b\\\\=100.5310-87.9646\\\\=12.5664\approx12.6\ inches
