1- When he was talking to Cherry about sunsets

2- She tells Ponyboy that the real difference is that the Socs don't feel. They are emotionless, because they are trying to maintain a cool aloofness. The Greasers, on the other hand, are the complete opposite. They feel everything, and respond and act on every little emotion. (Put in your own words)

4- He means he thinks that Darry is cruel and doesn't love him

5- He means his eyes are piercing and scary

6- He means to shut up

7- He means it isn't fair that they have such a tough life
