6 2/3

Explanation:

Turn the mixed fraction into an improper fraction by multiplying the denominator by the constant (9x3) then add the numerator (27+1) your new improper fraction would be 28/3. For the second mixed fraction do the same. You should get 8/3. Then subtract the numerators. Dont forget to convert the answer back into a mixed fraction!!
