The volume of a sphere is 4/3 π r³. So the volume of a hemisphere is half of that:

V = (2 / 3) π r³

V = 128π/3

The formula for the volume of a cylinder is V = Bh or V = πr²h .

The radius of the cylinder is 4mm and the height is 7mm

Substitute 4 for r and 7 for h in the formula V = πr²h .

V=π(4)²(7)

V = 112π

Since the figure is made up of a hemisphere and cylinder so volume will be sum of these two shapes

V = 128π/3 + 112π

= 485.9 mm³
