Okay, so,

5x < -3x + 8
(NOTE: The less than or equal to sign is represented as a less than sign since I am typing on a phone :P)

You can add three to both sides to even out the expression like so:

8x < 8

Now just divide both sides by 8, like so:

x < 1

And just like that, you have simplified it!

(NOTE (again lol) The less than or equal to sign is represented as a less than sign since I am typing on a phone :P)

Hope this helps!

Answer:

If I did the math right you should get this answer: x<=1

Explanation:

5x<=-3x+8

5x+3x<=-3~x+8+3x

8x<=-3x+8+3x

8x<=-3x+3x+8

8x<=8
