How did Lenin's ideas differ from Karl Marx's?

Lenin was man of action and he was the first one to act on Marx's idea.He considered Marx nothing less than God and adhered to ideas of Mature Marx.He wanted to prove Marx's idea of socialism as scientific and inevitable. But being man of action he was pragmatic and knew that Communism was still an utopian idea and for it to happen there is need for some modifications.
