Answer:

The answer to your question is 29.79 %

Explanation:

Data

time = 2 s = 70 cm³

time = 3s = ? cm³

radius = 4 cm

height = 7 cm

Process

1.- Calculate the volume of the cup

Volume = πr²h

-Substitution

Volume = (3.14)(4)²(7)

= 351.68 cm³

2.- Calculate the percent filled after 2 seconds

352.68 cm³ ------------------- 100 %

70 cm³ ------------------- x

x = (70 x 100)/ 352.68

x = 19.84 %

3.- Calculate the percent filled after 3 seconds

2 seconds ---------------------- 19.84%

3 seconds ---------------------- x

x = (3 x 19.84)/2

x = 29.79 %

4.- Conclusion

After 3 seconds the cup will be 29.79 % filled.
