A=48un^2. You draw two auxiliary lines separating the trapezoid into 2 triangles and a rectangle. The graph shows that each unit =2 so when finding the lengths, multiply by two. For example, from T to A, there are 4 units but it’s really 8. Then you just solve the area for each shape and them. You get 8+32+8 which is 48. I’m not that good at explaining so hopefully the picture I added helps you further understand.
