Answer:

In 2015, the Queensland Government upgraded all Koalas to Vulnerable. In parts of South East Queensland, the decline of Koala habitat is of major concern e.g. as a result of clearing and deterioration of Poplar Box woodlands. Many Koala populations are thought to have disappeared or to be in serious decline.

Heres my answer that got me a 100%

Step-by-step explanation:

The koala is considered an endangered species in Australia because of the many things that endanger it. These threats to the koala have taken so much of the population that their population has dropped to being millions to about one hundred thousand. What threatens these species? There population declined because of loss of habitat, cars, dogs, carbon dioxide, and the impacts of global warming. When trees are cut to make homes, roofs, industries etc... they take away a koala’s habitat and source of food. When the koala’s habitat is token away the koala walks across roads in order to find a new home. This is quite unfortunate for us humans because we could never see the koala and might crash our cars into them. This is also bad news for the koalas since they are slow walkers, making them the perfect prey for dogs and predators. The carbon dioxide problem is actually quite surprising. As carbon rates going up the koala’s food becomes less nutritious and more poisonous resulting in the koala to leave its home tree to find new food, keep in mind koalas WERN'T made for the ground. Global warming is causing the koalas homes to be unsafe. When the trees become drier so do the leaves and since eucalyptus trees give of an oil that is flammable this causes fires to their homes. Will the koala escape?

Hopes this helps :)
