Answer: The answer is 176 yd.

Explanation:

To find the answer you have to find the area for both triangles and the three rectangles that make up the shape.

The first thing you'll find is the triangles:

we know the formula for triangles is A =
(1)/(2) bh

Then we plug in:

A =
(1)/(2)(4×11)

A =
(1)/(2)\\(44)

A =
(44)/(2)

Now simplify :

A = 22

That's the value to one of the triangles since you have two then you have to multiply that 22 times 2 which ends up with 44.

After that you find the areas for the rectangles and multiply the answer times 3.

the formula for a rectangle is A = wl , no we plug in:

A = 11×4

A = 44

Now multiply that times 3 and you get 132.

After finding the values of the rectangles and the triangles you add them together.

Rectangles + Triangles = Total Value

132 + 44 = 176 yd

I think it’s 111 but I don’t know if it’s right but you find the area of each face then add them up to get your answer.

4•3/2= 6•2=12
(4 times 3 divided by 2 is 6 and since there are 2 of those exact faces you multiply it by two)

11•3= 33 so you do 33•3 which is equal to 99 then add

99+12= 111 yds
