Two friends bought a packet of cucumber seeds.They argued that the seeds were not living.Here is what they said:

Dulce:”I think they are alive in the sealed packet.”
Jonathan:”I don’t think they are alive until they are planted in the soil.

Answer:

Viable seeds are living entities. They must contain living, healthy embryonic tissue in order to germinate. All fully developed seeds contain an embryo and, in most plant species, a store of food reserves, wrapped in a seed coat thats what i found on the Internet so Dulce is right.
