m=∆y÷∆x

Where ∆y in given by y2-y1 and ∆x is equal to x2-x1

Taking point 1 to be (-7, -5) while point 2 is (-7, -7) then

∆y=-7--5=-2

∆x=-7--7=0

Therefore, the gradient will be -2÷0

Any number divided by zero is infinite. Therefore, the slope of these two points is infinite.
