Mai and Priya were solving inequalities.

Mai said, "When you are solving an inequality and the last line is 2 ≥ 5, then the inequality has no solutions because 2 is never greater than or equal to 5."
Priya said, "I know an inequality has no solutions if the last line is x ≤ 4 because x cannot be equal to 4 and less than 4."
Only one of the students is correct, who is it?

Then, who is incorrect? Fix the incorrect statement.

mai is correct. priya is incorrect. this is because the “x” could possibly be equal to or less than four. So, priyas problem would actually have a solution.
