Answer:Based on the last line taken from Jack Gilbert's "Failing and Flying", Gilbert offers a different interpretation of the Icarus myth which is C. That Icarus was triumphant in his flight even though he drowned. He interpreted Icarus' flight to be a triumph since Icarus had the courage to do the thing he wanted to which most of us don't have the courage for knowing that we might not be successful.
