Anterograde Amnesia refers to lack of capability to make new memories. It happens due at event leading to amnesia. Amnesia is inability of brain to remember recent past information , however meanwhile - long term previous memory remain unaffectedly intact. It can happen as a result of traumatic event.

Example : A person been involved in an accident, memorises & recalls only the memories of incidents before accident, doesn't remember the incidents after the accident
