Now we're like, huh, what IS the total number of possible points! Too bad we can't just go to Bree's math teacher and ask-

There are many ways to find the answer. Number lines, equations. This is what I did:

52 / 85 = 0.85

Now move the decimal point two times to get a percentage which gives you 85%. Or you can just get rid of the decimal point and put a 100 as a denominator. It's still the same thing.
