La Huelga was the leader of the Delano grape strike.

A strike happened because of poor working conditions. La Huelga fought for grape farmers to have a decent living wages and other conditions. He also fought for them to have the right of being represented by a union.

Cesar Chavez was the leader of the union referred to as the National Farm Workers Association (NFWA)

Good working conditions was the main topic for discussion and it was made possible through Cesar Chavez by non violent protests and negotiations.
