Using the Pythagorean theorem, " a^2 + b^2 = c^2 ", we can substitute our given variables.

The result would be ( 11 )^2 + b^2 = ( 61 )^2

or ( 121 ) + b^2 = ( 3721 )

Subtract a from both sides to get b^2 = 3600

And finally, square root our answer to get b = 60

Since b is x on our chart, the answer will be x = 60
