the number line for

x≤-2

must include the values of the line less than -2 but also equal to -2.

When we are including the extreme number (in these case the -2) in the number line we must draw a filled circle (as seen in the attached image) to represent the symbol '≤'.

And the number line for

x<-5

must include all the numbers less than -5, except the -5 because of the sign < that means we are not including the extreme number (-5), so for this case in the number line we have an empty circle no represent the symbol '<'
