Answer:

a. He pays 2.40 $ per minute

b. 31.20$ or 9.60$

Explanation:

a. 2.5 hours = 2.5 x 60 = 150 minutes

Charges to park for 150 minutes = $6

Parking Charges per minute = 6 divided by 150 = 25

60 divided by 25 = 2.40

b. 13 hours x 2.40$ = 31.20$

4 hours x 2.40$ = 9.60$

(Wasn't sure if it was 13 or 4 hours so I just did both)

Answer:

a) $0.04

b) $4.2

Explanation:

2.5 hours = 2.5 × 60

= 150 minutes

Rate per minute:

6/150 = $0.04 per minute

1¾ hours = 1.75 × 60

= 105 minutes

105 × 0.04 = $4.2
