can you help me figure out the answer to what is the diffrence between a 1 and 1/4 inch button and a 3/8 button or can you just give me the answer ... it does not matter wich one i just need to pass this question

1 1/4 - 3/8 = 7/8.

Change 1/4 to 2/8.
2/8 - 3/8 is -7/8.. so take from the 1 in front to make it positive.
