A grandfather, age 47, has just been diagnosed with Huntington’s disease, which is caused by a dominant allele. His wife is 55 and healthy. His daughter, age 25, now has a 2-year-old son. No one else in the family has the disease. What is the probability that the daughter will contract the disease?

The disease is a dominant allele which means he could have a dominant allele or two dominant alleles so there is at least a 25% change
