The members of the French club are sponsoring a bake sale. If their goal is to raise at least $305, how many pastries must they sell at $3.55 each in order to meet the goal? Write and solve an inequality.

3.55x=305\\x=(305)/(3.55) \\x= About 86

So there you go!

They have to sell 86 pastries in order to meet the goal!

So there cannot be a fraction of a pastry sold, so:


x\geq 86
