Referring to my data the test tubes that had the most noticeablechange in color was test tube #2 which contained the cabomba in the light, the original color of the test tube was green and by the end of the lab it had changed to a darker blue. Test tube #2 also hadthe most drastic absorbance rates compared to the others, when wetook the first reading for test tube #2 it read 0.0007 and the final reading was 0.609. Test tubes #1 (water in light) and #3 (water in the dark) remained at zero since it was our control group and contained just the bromothymol blue. Test tube #4 had a slight change in color starting with a more prominent green color and changing to a pale shade of green towards the end of the lab, test tube #4 also had a slight change in absorption ratings as well. Whenwe took the first reading for test tube #4 it read -0.037 and the finalreading was -0.090. When we compare the color of the test tubes that is quantitative data and when compare the absorption rating that is an example of _____ data

qualitative
quantitative

Answer:

qualitative

Explanation:

Qualitative data is one which is non numerical in nature. The data which has characterizes types of units under observation. Here also in the given question the when the colors of test tube are compared we look at the specific color of certain test tube. When the absorption ratings for the test tube are compared we are looking at the capacity of the test tube. This represents the characteristic of certain test tube. This is an example of qualitative data.
