What is the solution to the equation 4 x minus 6 = 10 x minus 3?

x = negative 2
x = negative one-half
x = one-half

Ok so this is the equation:

4x - 6 = 10x - 3

First what you wanna do is add 3 so we can isolate 10x!

You should be left with this...

4x - 3 = 10x

subtract 4x...

-3 = 6x

Divide by 6...

And we get -1/2!
