in a 45-45-90 triangle, the sides are the same

you can find the third side using the pythagoran therum


a^(2) +b^(2) =c^(2)

but a and b are the same thing, so


2x^(2) =c^(2)

if x is the side

so, like in problem 1


2x^(2) =c^(2)\\2(25^(2)) =c^(2)\\2(625) =c^(2)\\1250 =c^(2)\\c=√(1250)\\c=35.36

always make sure the hypotnus is longer than the legs
