Which equation is equivalent to in(x+2)=5

Answer:

3+2=5

if you take x+2=5 and you move the 2 to the other side to isolate the x, you would subtract 2 from 5 and your equation would look like x=3. then subtitute 3 for x and you get 3+2=5
