This question is easy, so I'm going to assume you just don't know what a vertex is. A vertex is the lowest or highest point on a parabola, depending on if it's like this: /\ or this: \/

Basically, it's the only point on the graph that has this certain y-value.

So on this graph that y value is -8, its the lowest y-value on the line and only has one point with it.
