Many studies have found that children who listen to classical music while in the womb or when younger tend to have higher IQs later in life. These studies are typically done by surveying parents of older children about whether or not they played classical music when the child was younger and conducting an IQ test of the child.

Answer:

Intelligence is multifaceted

Step-by-step explanation:

Most parents try to provide the maximum advantage for their children when they are in the womb to provide the best avenue for success when they are born. One popular belief is that listening to classical music in the womb makes them score higher in IQ tests.

Factually speaking, intelligence is was measured when the individuals were babies but when they were already older children. This does not accurately reflect other input that has occurred to that point. As a point of fact, parents that are in the position to provide classical music to their children may also be in a better position to provide a nurturing environment for optimal success.
