Distance is product of speed and time.

Given the car that moves South takes 2 hours then the speed is 55 mph

Where s is speed, t is time and D is distance covered. Substituting 2 hours for time and 55 mph for s then

Distance=2*55=110 miles

Using trigonometry

Cos 36°=110/x

X=110/cos 36°=135.967477524977 miles

Alternatively

X=110/sin 54°=135.967477524977

Rounded off, this is approximately 136 miles
