-9n-12+6

Add 12 to both sides

-9n-12=6

+12=+12

which is -12 and +12 cancel out so we are left out with

-9n=18

Last you will divide -9 to both sides

-9n/-9 = 18/-9

which it would be n= -2

Explanation:

First we want to distribute the -3 to the (3n+4) and after that we get

-9n-12=6

Next since we're trying to isolate "n" the variable we want to add 12 to both sides which gets us

-9n = 18

Lastly we want to divide both sides by -9 to get n alone which gets us our answer

n = -2
