Aerobic respiration is the complete oxidation of glucose in the presence of oxygen with maximum release of energy.

Anaerobic respiration is the incomplete oxidation of glucose in the absence of oxygen with no release of energy.

Glycolysis and krebs cycle and electron transport chain are stages of aerobic respiration
