Compare / contrast the Spanish omelette, tortilla española, with the omelette

that you order in a restaurant like Denny's in the USA.
(I don’t know cause I haven’t tried it before but your help would be greatly appreciated and I don’t have a lot of time)

A tortilla española is an omelette made with eggs and potatoes sometime onions. The tortilla española is thicker than a regular omelette. A tortilla is a type of thin flatbread typically made from corn or flour.

Answer:

The added ingredients are placed onto the cooked eggs which are then folded, served hot an omelette makes a filling breakfast or light lunch. Spanish tortilla are a deep omelette containing sliced potatoes and possibly a little onion. Quiche or egg flans have a pastry base.Another thing worth noting is the preparation of tortillas. Whereas Spanish tortillas are made with eggs like an omelette, tortillas in Mexico use corn flour and are in the form of flatbread. Mexican cuisine is influenced by Spanish culture, but is also mainly based on Mesoamerican cooking.
