The Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine support a number of positions relative to promoting the health and well-being of LBGT Adolescents. From the list below select all of the positions they support.
A))All health care providers who care for adolscents must be training to provide competent and non-judgemental care for LGBT youth.
B))While training is important in care for LGBT youth it should be optional for health care providers who work with youth.
C))Providers should ask youth how they identify and match their language because sexual orientation and gender are dynamic consructs.
D))Because family support is important providers should tell parents if their adolescent child reveals that they are LGBT.
E))For youth who are struggling with their sexual orientation or gender identity reparative therapy is reccomended insted of affirmative therapy.
F))Providers should be prepared to address the health care needs of sexually active LGBT teenagers.
