Explanation:

in this case, you just have to think what two numbers multiplied together will give u 10, and when added will give you -7.

In this case since the numbers added and - and the numbers multiplied are positive, you know that both numbers a negative, because a negative number multiplied by a negative number is a positive number, and two negative numbers added together are both negative.

In this case, -5 & -2 multiplies to 10 & add to -7
