A rectangular field is 120 meters long and 75 meters wide.

Give the length and width of another rectangular field that has the same perimeter but a smaller area.

l = 120 m ; b = 75 m

Perimeter = 2*(l+b) = 2*(120+75) = 2* 195 = 390 m

Area = l*b = 120*75 = 9000 sq.m

Another rectangular field:

length and width should be factor of 195 as both should have the same perimeter.

L = 190m ; b= 5m

Perimeter = 2*(190+5) = 2*195 = 390 m

Area = 190*5 = 950 sq.m

Same perimeter and a smaller area.
