Reliability is based on the quality of a product or service. For example, Chick-Fil-A is known forhigh quality food and customer service. In result their prices are a little higher than the average fast-food restaurant and they have long term loyal customers. One of the key elements in reliability is longevity. Companies want to make products that last for a long time, have long term employees, and have the business around for more than a decade. The longer a company has a stable idea, the more the company can continue to expand and become one of the world’s largest brands. For example, McDonalds started off as a small company but over time the company was able to grow nationally. Another key element to reliability is making sure that the plan being used is effective. For example, a year or so ago when Apple released the IPhone 5, they knew that the device would sell because of the popularity built around the brand but they had to make sure that the device delivered all of the specs and features customers were looking for.
