Given:

The block is in the shape of a cylinder.

Radius of the block (r) = 3 cm

Length of the block (h) = 10 cm

2.9 gram = 1 cubic centimeter

To find:

The weight of the cylindrical block.

Solution:

The value of π = 3.142

Volume of the cylindrical block =
\pi r^2h

=3.142 * 3^2 *10

Volume of the cylindrical block = 282.7 cubic centimeter

To convert cubic centimeter into grams:

1 cubic centimeter = 2.9 grams

282.7 cubic centimeter = 282.7 × 2.9

= 819.83 grams

The weight of the cylindrical block is 819.83 grams.
