-x - 2 = -1• (x + 2)
solve : -x = 2
Add 2 to both sides of the equation :
-x = 2
Multiply both sides of the equation by (-1) : x = -2

Explanation:

2x - 5 = 3x - (2 + x)

2x- 5 = 3x - 2 - x

2x - 5 = 3x - x - 2

2x - 5 = 2x - 2 (-2x and + 5)

2x - 2x - 5 +5 = 2x - 2x - 2 + 5

0 - 0 = 0 + 3

0 = 3 (This equation is uncorrect)
