Answer:

14 liquid ounces of concentrated soap

Explanation:

We have 84 fluid ounces of water used to make a universal cleaner, we want to know how much concentrated soap should be used.

To know how much soap to use we must know the proportion that the instructions tell us, which is told in the statement 4 liquid ounces of concentrated soap for every 3 cups of water, a rate of water is equivalent to 8 ounces, therefore 24 were used (8 * 3) ounces of water, i.e .:

4 O. concentrated soap / 24 O. Water

So to find out how many ounces of soap it would be:

84 O. Water * 4 O. concentrated soap / 24 O. Water = 14 O. concentrated soap

In other words, in the 84 fluid ounces of water, 14 liquid ounces of concentrated soap were used
