If f(x)= (7x+1)/3 − (4x−5)/3 , what is the value of f(x)−x?

f(x)-x=2

Explanation:

hello :

f(x)= (7x+1)/3 − (4x−5)/3 = (7x+1-4x+5)/3 =(3x+6)/3 =3(x+2)/3 = x+2

f(x) = x+2

now : f(x)-x = x+2-x =2
