Answer:

It's very essential.

Step-by-step explanation:

Magnifying glasses are only capable of magnifying things that we can see with our naked eyes. What about the cells, the bacteria and the viruses around us? We wouldn't have been able to see them and study about them and their significance without a microscope.

Without a microscope we wouldn't have been able to study our cells and thus we wouldn't understand how our body works. We wouldn't be able to understand the structure of many microscopic pathogens and how it is that they cause a disease.

It's essential.

Answer:

Magnifying glasses only enlarges the image of specimen that are visible to the naked eye, however, resolution is lost and some details are not shown in the magnified image.

This gap gave rise to further research on increasing the image size and further details without losing the resolution. Also certain micro organisms and viruses can not be seen unless with the aid of a very high series of power lenses.

This gap made the discovery of microscope essential.
