Answer:
Henry VIII had 6 wives
Explanation:
1. Catherine Of Aragon, a princess of Spain.
She was married to the king for 24 years, before she got divorced for Anne Boelyn, who promised to give the kind a male heir. Catherine of Aragon sired Mary Tudor, also known as Bloody Mary.
2. Anne Boelyn
Anne Boelyn promised Henry a male heir. This is what Henry desired, and after a couple years of Henry not getting an heir, Henry got into a jousting accident, and got Anne beheaded for multiple charges that Anne were innocent to.
3. Jane Seymour
Jane was really the only wife that gave Henry a male heir. During childbirth, the doctors said that they could only save one. Henry said, "The boy. I can always get a new wife."
4. Anne of Cleves
Anne of Cleves is known for being ugly, but that actually didn't happen. Anne looked just like her painting, but she didn't know English customs. Particularly: Dressing up as a peasant. If your wife couldn't reconize you, (like Anne), then apprarently they were not meant to be your wife.
5. Katherine Howard.
Katherine Howard... was used for her body. And she was 17-19 when she was beheaded. When she heard she was going to be beheaded, guards had to take away things she could be killed with so... yeah...
6. Catherine Parr
Catherine Parr was Henry's last wife. She survived the tyrant that went down in history. Only thing: She lived in constant fear of Henry.
Hope this helped!
