y = -3x + 4

Explanation:

by the time 3x it will pass (-5,3) and the slope is -3/1 or -3, please tell me if im wrong

Answer:

y = -3x-12

Explanation:

y = mx +b in point slope form

insert the slope

y = -3x+b

substitue the point for x and y

3 = -3(-5) +b

3 = 15+b

Subtract 15 from each side

3-15 =15-15+b

-12 =b

y = -3x-12
