Answer: 5y+ 4x +30 = 0

Explanation:

The formula for finding the equation of line when two points are given is :

(y-y_(1))/(x-x_(1))=(y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2) -x_(1))

x_(1)=-5

x_(2)=5

y_(1)=2

y_(2)=-6

substituting into the formula , we have :

(y-2)/(x-(-5))=(-6-2)/(5-(-5))

(y-2)/(x+5) = (-8)/(10)

we have:

(y-2)/(x+5)=(-4)/(5)

which will give :

5(y+2) = -4(x+5)

which will be :

5y + 10 = -4x - 20

writing in standard form , we have :

5y+ 4x +30 = 0
