(1)/(6) < (3)/(12) < (1)/(3)

We can write three-twelfth as :


(3)/(12)

Now, we can write one-sixth as :


(1)/(6) = (1 * 2)/(6 * 2) = (2)/(12)

And, we can write one third as :


(1)/(3) = (1 * 4)/(3 * 4) = (4)/(12)

Now, since 2 < 3 < 4, then
(2)/(12) < (3)/(12) < (4)/(12)


(1)/(6) < (3)/(12) < (1)/(3)

So, this is the ordered numbers from least to greatest. (Answer)
