How was reading the poem different from listening to it? How was it similar? How did the way the reader read the poem affect the audience (you)? What about the way he read it jumped out at you the most? Why? Which did you prefer? Why?

Answer:

It was different because listening to the poem involved my hearing sense, and reading it relied on my seeing sense. It was similar because it was the same poem, just communicated in a different way. The way the reader read it affected me through the emphasis the reader put into the words. It was the emphasis and emotion that jumped out to me most because the poem came alive. I preferred listening to it because of this.
