If f(x) and it's inverse function, f-1(x), are both plotted on the same coordinate plane, what is there correct point of intersection? (0,-2) (1,-1) (2,0) (3,3)

A fucntion f(x) and its inverse is f-1(x)

To find :

The plot of the coordinates for the intersection.

Solution:

Now we know that inverse fucntion is changing the y=f(x) and then

changing to x to y and y to x

So given function is f(x)

Inverse function is y,

But value of inverse function is f-1(x)

So y=f(x)=f-1(x)

Therefore it becomes

y=x

Hence the value is y=x coordinates

i.e. (3,3)
