First get all x’s to one side of the equation. Add 7x to both sides so you get 12x = 6. Next, divide both sides by 12 to get x by itself. 12x/12 is x and 6/12 is 0.5 or 1/2. The final answer should be x= 0.5 or x=1/2

Answer:

x=1/2

Explanation:

1.). add 7x to both sides

12x=6

2.) divide by 12 to get x by itself.

x=6/12

3.) simplify the fraction and you get the answer!

x=1/2
